week 7 - EOC - Chocolate

We all know and love chocolate. It comes in so many different forms and the outcome every time is delicious. But of course when you have all these forms of chocolate, what do you do next? I know what you do, you stick alcohol in it! Yes liquor infused chocolates. Well not exactly but instead chocolate shot glasses. Imagine being at a party that offers you a shot of anything in a chocolate shot glass that you get to eat, you would not forget that. It doesn’t stop with just milk chocolate, we will have dark, white, white and strawberry swirl, the flavors are endless. Of course different liquor will taste better with a certain chocolate. We can let the customer make that decision. I even plan on making infused glasses as well. This is where I would collaborate with different liquor brands. For example I could team up with Johnny Walker, infuse the shot glass and slap a Jonny Walker logo on the packaging. It doesn’t stop at shot glasses, I would offer beer mugs and wine glasses. I would need to do some research on how to make these so that they don’t melt while you are trying to enjoy your beverage. I would probably have to put a hard shell candy around it almost like an M&M. I would promote these glasses through liquor stores and online, possibly grocery stores depending on the demand. This idea gives chocolate a whole new name and purpose. Many people would buy these, who doesn’t like chocolate and alcohol? I would definitely market towards college students and young adults.

EOC - Week 6 - MeX3

My pair of classic Ray Ban Wayfarer sunglasses is an item that defines me. It is the only pair of sunglasses that I feel look the best on me. I do own other pairs but this pair is always my go to. They give me this persona that I like, they give me a certain look. In the last 5 years I’ve owned the same style, (not pair) I am loyal to the brand Ray Ban and I will forever own a pair of them. I’m dedicated to the originality of the brand, they’ve been around for years and they pioneered that style.

I’d have to say my car is a possession of mine that expressed me the most. I drive a 2015 black Mustang. Of course I did not buy this car for myself, it was a Christmas gift from my parents. I had a perfectly fine car that my sister passed down to me when she bought her new Jeep. I am forever grateful for the amazing gift; it has definitely given me a new look. Cars are very personal, and give you a certain image no matter what the make or model is. I tend to attract people who are into muscle cars or racing cars. My car is very personal to me because of the mods I have installed.

The third possession of mine expresses me would have to be my guitar. Like my sunglasses I’ve owned several over the years. I have owned over 10 guitars and about 5 bass guitars. Right now I currently own an acoustic guitar. Ever since I was 11 years old I’ve always had a guitar to jam on. Those instruments have definitely shaped the person I am today. The best part is that I am always learning something new with the guitar.

EOC - My Voice

I have been affiliated with the music industry all my life. It started with a dream and I am making that dream a reality. I compose music with a good friend of mine in a studio we built together. I produce for Vance (good friend) and other artists that we work with. I have a talent for composing music and making it perfect. My goal is to put my sound out there and get recognized for it. To build a multi billion-dollar studio/music group that will stand out from the rest. Changing the music industry is what we want to do, not just conquer it. What we are focusing in on right now is hip-hop, but the end goal is to mix hip-hop with other sounds and genres. That’s where I come in, to offer a different sound to today’s hip-hop. So remember my name, I’ll be around for a while.

EOC - week 3 - Generation K

The generation I was born in was a very strange one. I’m not sure if you can even class me in one generation. I was born in 1995; right on the edge of the millennials and generation Z. It’s a strange time period because we remember what life was like without some of todays modern technology. As oppose to the majority of generation Z that was born with it. I was doing research on my generation(s) and I found out that author Noreena Hertz classified my generation as, Generation K. When I read up on this generation K it made perfect sense. The K stands for “Katniss” from the Hunger Games. “Hertz’s definition of a generation is a group of people who share hopes, values, and fears, and one of the things she found most alarming about Generation K is the profound amount of anxiety they seem to have. A lot of this could be brought on by living with and being shaped by things like war, school shootings, and the September 11th attacks, and the most interesting way that Hertz noticed this change was in looking at the books her kids are reading.” http://fusion.net/story/125950/generation-k-the-theory-that-people-born-between-1995-and-2002-are-in-a-class-all-their-own/

I couldn’t agree more with Hertz’s theory of generation K. We really do live in fear everyday even though we may not show it. From watching the twin towers fall, to hearing about another shooting, not only just shootings but also school shootings. We are a very anxious generation that really doesn’t trust anyone. The past few years my family has been gearing me up for the fall of America, and how they feel bad for my generation. I’ve been living on my own since I was 18, I feel like sometimes I don’t get as much credit as I should for some of the things I’ve done on my own. But me its not expected, I’ve always had the attitude of getting things done by myself. I know my generation can back me up on this statement; we don’t do it because we want to, we do it because we have to.

EOC Week 4 – My App invention

When it comes to apps, there’s a million out there that do many different things. So when I had to come up with a new one it got me thinking. Lately smart phones and the apps on those smart phones have been replacing old technology. For example you can tune your guitar on your smart phone with an app.  It will never put companies that make guitar tuners out of business but it’s always there when you need it. So I decided to make a thermometer app. With this app you will be able to take your temperature whenever you feel a fever coming on. You will be able to take your temperature with your fingerprint. The new finger print technology was a great invention to unlock your phone. I want to use this technology to take your temperature whenever you want! People will never stop using thermometers, it’s a tool we need as a society that’s now in your phone. Over the years being a child, my parents were always looking for a thermometer in the junk drawer. I cant tell you how many times they went to the store to while I was sick to buy a thermometer. At home thermometers also run on light. In order for it to work it has to sit in light for a few minutes.  If it was sitting in a drawer for god knows how long, its not going to start up right away.  I will also sell an extension to the app. For a more accurate reading you can buy a mouthpiece that you can plug into your phone and put your tongue on. This will give a better reading than your thumb. I would charge a dollar for the app and 10 dollars for the extension. I believe this app will help many americans and people around the world.
